Nana came over on Sunday to celebrate my birthday. She brought me an ice cream cake. Mmmm. It was very cold but oh so good. We also opened gifts from Nana and Cousin Marianne and Dennis. They always send really neat things.

On my birthday, Mommy took the day off to spend it with me. Mommy, Grandma and I had a great day (Grandma suprised us with a visit). We made a trip to Butler to see Butler Blue and some of Mommy's friends. We also went to this place called Conner Prairie. They had a place called the Discovery Center. It was closed but Mommy knew the "right" people and they opened it just for me. It was a lot of fun. I milked a cow, played on a tractor, rode a car, etc. Mommy said we will go back. I had a great time and can't wait to see the baby animals next summer. Maybe I'll share some pictures in future postings.
We got home right before it started to storm. Can you believe we had a thunderstorm on my birthday in January? Mommy said that is very unusual. We ate and started to open gifts when we received a tornado warning. Mommy and Daddy were really freaked out and looked out the window a lot but everything was okay. All and all, I had a great birthday and really enjoyed the cake even though I kept the house up from 1:00 am to 3:30 am that night :)

On Wednesday morning we enjoyed my 1-year pictures before I went to school. Check out a sneak-peak at my pictures.

My birthday continued with balloons at school and a gift from Aunt Courtney, Uncle Eric and Cousin Brookie once I arrived home. Check out my new chair from the Harpers.

This birthday thing is really fun. I can't wait until I can have another one.
